Hi everyone!
We are getting together for a small family weekend to celebrate Gunjan’s graduation and to have some time together outside the usual hospital and travel schedules.
Where: Santa Ynez, CA. The Airbnb address and any gate/parking details will be shared separately in the family chat.
Who: Family and close friends joining for the graduation weekend.
Main plan: Saturday night dinner at the Airbnb. That is the big one for the weekend, so try to be there and settled in before then.
Weekend Flow
Saturday, May 23: Leave in the morning, arrive around check-in, get settled, and join everyone for dinner at 7:00 PM.
Sunday, May 24: Breakfast in the morning, then the winery plan during the day. Lunch or a late lunch will be built into that, and dinner will stay flexible depending on how the day goes.
Monday, May 25: Check out, drive toward Santa Barbara, stop for lunch if the timing works, and then head home.
Saturday Dinner Menu: The yakitori menu will include chicken thigh with green onion, gizzard, tsukune, bara (pork belly), shiitake mushroom, okra, shrimp, asparagus wrapped in bacon, and chicken heart.
What to bring: Comfortable clothes for the house, a light jacket for the evening, winery clothes if you want, swimwear for the pool/hot tub, and anything special you need for a two-night stay.
House notes: Please plan to park only in the designated spaces, keep noise down after 10 PM, and use plastic only around the pool area.
